How do I ride this?

1. Proceed in working sitting trot, tracking left.

2. At K, make a 10-meter half volte.

3. Half-pass back toward the track.

4. About 1 meter from the rail, push his haunches further over with your right leg.

5. Immediately proceed straight ahead in renvers.

Keep in mind

In this exercise, your horse’s shoulders never touch the track following the half-pass — only his haunches return to the track. You must be sharp with your aids and very focused. Try asking for renvers as soon as you cross the quarter line, or you will be on the track before you know it!
